Burner Management Systems for Steam Generators and Furnaces (BMS)

Burner Management Systems for Steam Generators and Furnaces (BMS) BMSs are used for the management of automatic and manual of gas and oil burners, usually installed on HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generators) or furnaces for oil refinery primary plants. Main features include :

 

  • Management of automatic and manual commands for burner operations.
  • Control of main plant auxiliary services such as Feeding Pumps and Exhaust Gas Dampers.
  • Monitoring and display of all Steam Generator or Furnace parameters.
  • Protection against Plant, HRSG or Furnace faults and malfunctioning, alarm sequencing, automatic burner shutdown in case of safety condition alert.
  • Interfacing with Gas Turbine and auxiliary control systems, plant and electrical system supervisors such as Distributed Control Systems by mean of Serial Links, using the main industrial Protocols (MODBUS, PROFIBUS, etc.).

Panel features are fully custom-made according to customer requirements. Control logics are implemented by PLC and hardware. All PREIPOLAR products are CE marked. If required, GCPP may be fabricated in compliance with UL and CSA standards.
